3 hour workshop

Needle felting is a fun, simple, and creative activity. Using a specialized needle, some wool, and one simple technique, you can create amazing pieces of art. Ideal for groups of all ages. Go home with a unique felted projects and the right tools to finish it if you don't in class.

No experience needed. All materials, included. Each workshop will take place in your location.

Travel is included for up to 1.25 hours away (Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, Owen Sound, Orangeville, Shelburne, Goderich, Stratford) from the farm. Each additional 1/2 hour will be charged will be charged as an additional person.

In this workshop you will get an overview of tools, materials and techniques used in felting onto a flat surface. this will include:

• types of fibre- farm, local, and imported
• tools - singles, multi, and spiral needles, different types of multi tools
• substrates - wool, mixed, and woven fabrics
• reusing existing materials
• colour blending - how to create your own colours
• adding hand-stitching to your felt
